Phantom Radio is a radio program run by the Werkplaats Typografie, a two-year masters program in graphic design that is part of the ArtEZ University of the Arts. Phantom Radio in Los Angeles was compiled by Charlotte Taillet and Joel Colover to document some of the station’s recent musings. On the cover it states that the book includes “an introduction, a water analogy, a beginner’s guide to radio, a manual for the Phantom Radio, a series of drawings by Mathew Kneebone, conversations with Luke Fischbeck from Kchung, Alejandro Cohen and Ajay Ravi from Dublab, and a postcard from Redondo Beach.” Playful and eclectic, the book documents the WT’s residency at ArtCenter, Los Angeles.
