Cavity examines the spatial relations between the self and the home—–a meditation on the architecture of space. With a focus on gender, Zuzevich navigates the identities we create in response to our surroundings, each poem housing a small and structured shift toward an understanding of the self. Her poetics—–described as feminine and feral——surround domesticity and motherhood, providing an intimate reflection on and for space.
