Night Rind, a novella, is a first person narrative that breathes in a world of micro erotics—found in mundane hauntings, sonic emergences, touched food, accumulative bug, etc. It was made from a place of thinking about somatic texts—ones that encourage or emerge with bodily feeling such as the romance novel and the cookbook. The novella ends with two auto-theory essays on grottos and mood lighting respectively.
