Nature Doesn’t Know About Us, curated by Ugo Rondinone for Sculpture Milwaukee celebrates the disparate elements of the earth, while exploring the human connection to nature. The exhibition transformed Milwaukee’s public landscape with works by 17 artists who combine skeptical clarity and at times humor-tinged desire to locate the intersection of spiritual and physical presence in our daily life. This publication continues this expedition of the in-between to memorialize this exhibition and its search for meaning in a world existing alongside ours.
